SRI recently opened a new plant in Nanning, China. This is another major move of SRI in the robotic force control research and manufacturing this year. After the new factory was settled, SRI further optimized the production process and improved product quality. At present, SRI has an updated production workshop of 4,500 square meters, including an advanced and complete system of processing workshop, cleanroom, production workshop, mechanical equipment production workshop and testing workshop.

Over the years, SRI has been insisting on innovation in research and production processes. It is 100% independent in key technologies and production processes. The production and quality inspection meet the ISO17025 international standard for testing and certification, and all links are controllable and traceable. Relying on the strict and independent production and quality inspection system, SRI has been delivering high-quality six-axis force sensors, joint torque sensors and intelligent floating grinding head products to our customers worldwide.
Sunrise Instruments (SRI for short) was founded by Dr. York Huang, the former Chief Engineer of FTSS in the United States. It is a global strategic supplier of ABB. Sunrise's products are found on robots all over the world. SRI established international influence in grinding, assembling and force control in the robotics and in the auto safety industry. For three consecutive years in 2018, 2019, and 2020, SRI's six-axis force sensor and torque sensor appeared on the stage of China CCTV Spring Festival Gala (the most influential festival gala in China) together with partners.

In 2021, SRI Shanghai headquarters started operation. At the same time, SRI has established the "SRI-KUKA Intelligent Grinding Laboratory" and "SRI-iTest Joint Innovation Laboratory" with KUKA Robotics and SAIC Technology Center, dedicated to force control, vision and the integration of technologies such as intelligent control software and promoting the intelligent grinding application in industrial robots and software intelligence in the automotive testing industry.

SRI hosted the "2018 Robotic Force Control Technology Seminar" and "2020 Second Robotic Force Control Technology Seminar". Nearly 200 experts and scholars from China, the United States, Canada, Germany, Italy, and South Korea participated in the conference. Through continuous innovation, SRI has been named as one of the top robotic force control brands in the industry.
