The 3rd China Robot Industry Annual Conference and China Robot Industry Talent Summit was successfully held in Suzhou High-tech Zone on July 14, 2022. The event attracts hundreds of scholars, entrepreneurs, and investors to discuss in-depth on the "Annual Review of the Robot Industry, Promoting Industrial Innovation and Collaboration and Integration".
Dr. Huang (president of SRI) was invited to the meeting spoke on Robotic Six-axis Force/torque Sensor and Intelligent Grinding Technology. Dr. Huang elaborated on applications of six-axis force/torque sensors and intelligent grinding technology in various scenarios. He also introduced the current cooperation between SRI and ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, Foxconn, Medtronic and other leading robotics companies.
In addition, Dr. Huang also introduced the application of the iGrinder intelligent floating grinding head in the robotic force-controlled grinding industry. The iGrinder intelligent floating grinding head is installed at the end of the robotic arm. The grinding pressure control is independently controlled by iGrinder and is independent of the robot and its programming. In this way, the coding can be greatly reduced, and the integration efficiency can be improved.
